So you're thinking about moving to Regina?
As a long time resident of Regina, I am keenly aware of the benefits of living in the Queen City. A tight community, it's friendly attitude reflects best in its people, the citizens of Regina. And most convincingly, Regina's high retention rate within the city is likely to prove that Regina really does have it all!
At a population of approx. 193,000 and growing, Regina is a reasonably sized city to enjoy the benefits of the entertainment industry, ease in travel, job opportunity, educational opportunity, as well as stability. You will notice through my "links" the different opportunities available in Regina. Regina has the University of Regina located in the south end of the city, and for technical institutes, many opportunities are offered at SIAST. Geographically, Regina is central in Canada, relatively close to the U.S. border, and offers transportation via air, train, or bus.
Regina bears temperatures ranging from about 40 degrees C. to 40 degrees C. below. It keeps it interesting, and makes for great winter sports and activities, as well as the "highly sought after" summer sports. In fact, a quick commute to many lakes is available within an hour from the city, bringing skiing, both water and snow, as well as relaxing vacations near the beach. We have some wind too, which we hear is great for sailing! Within the city, Regina has beautiful Wascana Park, where wonderful walking, recreational activities, and seasonal events, take place. For special parties, you may take the boat to Willow Island. It's surrounded by Wascana Park, and is fun for special events.
Typically, Regina's home market remains stable, and most often experiences slight inflation. This trend has remained constant over the years almost ensuring your investment's security.
